Hawaii 2012 {Vacation ~ Day 1}

Aloha from the Garden Island - Kauai! I arrived here in Kauai on Monday with my family and two days into our trip we are already having an amazing time! We are staying at the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy and you couldn't ask for a better spot! Steps from the pool is the pathway to the ocean. Not more than 10 min after we arrived at the hotel we were already sitting out on lawn chairs enjoying the beauitful views of beach. So far the weather has been perfect. We were worried about rain today, but not a drop was to be found! Day 1
After soaking up the sun and relaxing for a few hours we freshened up before heading to the Smith Family Garden Luau. The grounds were amazing, seriously unreal. Not to mention there were beautiful peacocks everywhere you looked. Apparently it was mating season & they were definitely showing off! We loved walking around the gardens and stuffing our selves with the delicious food. It was all you can eat so I am not kidding when I said we stuffed ourselves, haha! I didn't take any decent photos of the show - but all I can say is those girls sure know how to shake their hips!
